Activity 1 - REPORT ON RSP CLUB VIDEO MAKING COMPETITION “Road safety is crucial for preventing accidents and ensuring the well-being of everyone on the road”. The RSP Club of our school organized a Video Making Competition on 9th August, 2025, the Saturday on the theme Road Safety Awareness. The main objective of the event was to encourage students to spread awareness about safe road practices through creative Audio-Visual presentations. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, with a total of 13 teams with 5 members in each team. Each team presented a video highlighting the important of road safety and measures such as following traffic signals, wearing helmets, using seat belts, and avoiding mobile phone usage while driving. The presentations were informative, engaging, and showcased the students’ talent, creativity, and sense of responsibility as young citizens. The event not only helped to spread awareness among peers but also reinforced the importance of following road safety rules in daily life. Overall, the competition was a grand success, achieving its aim of combining creativity with a social message.
Activity 2 - REPORT ON ROAD SAFETY CLUB ACTIVITY – PAMPHLET DISTRIBUTION The Road Safety Club organized a pamphlet distribution campaign on 5th November 2025 at Hasthampatti Signal to create awareness among the public about traffic rules and safe road practices. The main objective of the event was to educate vehicle riders, pedestrians, and the general public on the importance of adhering to road safety norms to reduce accidents and ensure a safer community. It is an essential aspect of social responsibility, community engagement, empathy and compassion and leadership.
Activity 3 - REPORT ON ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME “Road safety is a crucial, shared responsibility, especially when fostering a safer environment for future generations” Road safety patrol club of Senthil Public School, Salem conducted an awareness programme on Road Safety for next generation that is our school students and motivational programme for our school drivers to follow the safety regulation. Awareness Program is conducted on 24th January 2026 in Kandasamy Conventional Hall, to create awareness among the students and our school bus drivers about traffic rules and safe road practices. The primary aim of the event was to instil a strong understanding of road safety among our students, helping them develop responsible habits while on the road. Additionally, the programme sought to motivate their parents to lead by example and consistently adhere to road safety rules and regulations, fostering a culture of safety both at school and at home. Mr. Raj Kumar, M.E., Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade I, Regional Transport Office, Vellore, delivered a detailed and informative speech on road safety. He advised students against riding superbikes and highlighted the legal consequences for both parents and children who drive without a valid license. Emphasizing the importance of strictly following traffic rules and regulations, he also explained the dangers of rash driving and its potential impact on the future of accident victims. The event’s success was greatly enhanced by Mr. Raj Kumar’s active support and involvement. Students and drivers gained a clear understanding of the importance of following traffic signals and wearing helmets.
