Activity 1 - Heritage Club Report "Eat Right Grow Bright"– Promoting Healthy Eating Habits The Heritage Club organized a unique and engaging activity titled "Eat Right, Grow Bright" on August 9, 2025. The primary objective of this activity was to promote healthy eating habits and encourage skill development among club members by having them prepare nutritious lunchbox recipes. Participants from Classes VI to IX (a total of 224 students) enthusiastically took part, showcasing their creativity and understanding of healthy eating through innovative and well-balanced lunchbox ideas. The "Eat Right, Grow Bright" activity was a resounding success, fostering not only awareness of nutrition but also teamwork and collaboration among students. The Heritage Club looks forward to organizing more such engaging and informative activities in the future. We would like to appreciate all the students of Classes VI to IX for making this event a grand success. The Heritage Club also extends heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Jaya, Mrs. Poorani, and Mrs. Manimegalai for their valuable time, support, and expertise in judging the event. The judging criteria included: • Variety • Taste • Nutritional balance • Presentation • Overall creativity The prize distribution ceremony for the winners will be held on August 15, 2025.
Activity 2 - The Heritage Club organized a unique and engaging activity titled Heritage Play Fest on November 14th , 2025, for students of Classes VI to IX. The primary objective of this activity was to promote holistic development, cultural preservation, and academic benefits. Traditional games contain noble values and certain moral messages such as the value of togetherness, honesty, responsibility, cooperation, self-control, grace, encouragement to achieve and obey the rules. Activity Details: • Date: November 14, 2025 • Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. • Venue: Lobby and Tennis Court • Organized by: Heritage Club • Participants: Students from Classes VI to IX • Type of Activity: Awareness and Display The event area was beautifully arranged with colorful posters, traditional decorations, and stalls featuring various heritage games. Informative charts were displayed, explaining the history, rules, and values of each game. The club members confidently demonstrated each traditional game, creating an engaging learning environment for all visitors. Description of the Event: A Traditional Game Expo was organized, featuring displays of Indian games such as Pallanguli, Five Stones, Snake and Ladder, Stick Game, Goli, Top, Brainvita, and Dhaayam. Students and teachers visited the exhibits, learning about how these games were once an integral part of community life. No direct gameplay or sale took place during the event; however, students were given the opportunity to place orders for traditional game materials to take home and enjoy later. Outcomes: The exhibition successfully spread awareness about India’s traditional games and their importance in promoting logical thinking, teamwork, and social bonding. It inspired students to appreciate the value of cultural heritage and encouraged them to revive traditional games within their families and neighbourhoods. Conclusion: The “Heritage Play Feast” proved to be a meaningful and informative event. It not only promoted awareness about traditional games but also strengthened students’ appreciation for Indian culture. The Heritage Club expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, Coordinators, Teachers, and Club Members for their constant guidance and support. The club looks forward to organizing more creative and heritage-based activities in the future.
Activity 3 - Outreach Activity- Heritage Club “Tident Hands Sacred Lands” Date: 24.01.2026 Day: Saturday The Heritage Club organized a Outreach Activity with the aim to educate the students about the life and teachings of Sri Ramanujacharya and introduced them, the rich cultural heritage of Tamilnadu. This activity was successfully conducted for all Heritage Club students of Classes VI to IX on Saturday, 24th January 2026, from 9.30 AM to 2.30 PM .Students participated with great enthusiasm,created handmade Pluck cards that focused on themes such as in spreading awareness and developing a sense of responsibility, discipline, and respect for our cultural heritage. Students admired the 30 foot tall statue of Sri Ramanujacharya and the intricate carving in the temple. The interactive Session with the Priest helped the students to understand the significance of Sri Ramanujacharya’s Teachings and his contribution towards Caste equality. Students enjoyed the scenic surrounding of the temple. This activity concluded successfully by displaying the Pluckcards containg the slogan regarding the cleanliness of the temple and its surrounding. The students actively gave speech on this visit.
