The Students of Classes 6 to 8 of Senthil Public School, Salem, celebrated Students’ Day in a grand and vibrant manner at the Kandasamy Convention Hall on Saturday, 25th October 2025. The event, aptly titled “Sen Vibes,” was a feast for the eyes and ears, filled with joy, creativity, and boundless enthusiasm as students stole the show with their spectacular performances — dances, skits, vocal renditions, and even a lively talk show that kept the audience on the edge of their seats.
The Chief Guest, Shri. Anil Kumar Giri, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Salem City, and the Special Chief Guest, Mr. K. Makielan, Executive, Safety and Environment Department, SPIC Group of Companies, Tuticorin, a proud alumnus of Senthil Public School, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. The event was presided over by the members of the Management Shri. Senthil C. Kandasamy Chairman; Smt. K. Manimekalai Kandasamy, Vice Chairman; Shri. K. Dhanasekar, Secretary; Smt. D. Deepthi Dhanasekar, Correspondent; Dr. T. Sundaresan, CEO; Shri. C. Srinivasan, Senior Principal; Dr. V. Manoharan, Principal; Mr. S. Praveen Kumar, Administrative Officer; Ms. S. Nalini, Vice Principal; Ms. Kavitha and Ms. Leela, Academic Coordinators of Classes VI to VIII; along with other Academic Coordinators. Their collective presence lent grace, grandeur, and a touch of inspiration to the celebration.
In the Presidential Address, Shri. K. Dhanasekar, Secretary, Senthil Group of Schools, addressed both parents and students, stating that students are the future of our nation. He emphasized that the responsibility of shaping young minds rests not only with the school but also with parents and society, and urged parents to instill strong moral values in their children from an early age.
Mr. K. Makielan encouraged the students by sharing his own experiences. He emphasized that failure is not the end, but rather a stepping stone to success, highlighting the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving one’s goals.
Shri. Anil Kumar Giri, I.P.S., in his inspiring speech, motivated the students to aim high and excel in all fields, urging them to aspire for global recognitions such as the Nobel Prize and Oscars through hard work, dedication, and excellence. As part of the celebration, prizes were distributed to students who excelled in academics and sports, recognizing their hard work, determination, and outstanding achievements.
The event drew to a close on a high note with the Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem. The day left behind cherished memories and a renewed sense of purpose — a true celebration of student talent, achievement, and spirit, reminding everyone that when young minds are inspired, they can indeed move mountains.
