FELICITATES NATIONAL –LEVEL ATHLETIC CHAMPIONS

Senthil Public School, Salem, proudly honoured two of its outstanding athletes — Lakshya. S of Class VIII-C and Sanganidhi. V of Class X-D — in a felicitation ceremony held on 16th September 2025 for their remarkable achievements at the CBSE National Level Athletic Meet 2025-26, held from 10th to 13th September at Sant Atulanand Convent School, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

The journey began at the CBSE Cluster VI State Level Athletic Meet, conducted from 18th to 22nd July 2025 at Velammal Vidyalaya, Karur. Among fierce competition, 14 girls from our school secured a total of 25 medals — 8 Gold, 12 Silver, and 5 Bronze — winning the Overall Championship Trophy. Following this, 6 athletes were selected for the National Level.

National Achievements:

 At the CBSE National Athletic Meet,

• Lakshya. S of Class VIII-C clinched a Gold medal in the 600M (U-14) event and a Silver medal in the 400M, where she created history by setting a New Meet Record in 400M, clocking 1.02.13 minutes, breaking a 17-year-old record. 
• Sanganidhi. V of Class X-D brought laurels to the school by winning the Silver medal in the Triple Jump (U-17) event.

Both students have now been selected for the SGFI National Level Meet.

Felicitation Ceremony:

The students were felicitated by the Chairman, Shri Senthil C. Kandasamy, Vice Chairperson, Ms. Manimegalai, Secretary, Shri K. Dhanasekar, and Correspondent, Ms. Deepti Dhanasekar, in the esteemed presence of Principal, Dr. V. Manoharan, Vice Principal, Ms. Nalini, CEO, Dr. T. Sundaresan, Administrative Officer, Mr. Praveen Kumar, and the Academic Coordinators.

A note of deep gratitude was extended to the coaches — Mr. Suresh, Mr. Parthiban, and Ms. Bharathi — whose perseverance, passion, and unwavering mentorship inspired the athletes to pursue excellence and achieve remarkable milestones.
